Sounds Good, Looks Good!

Not enough time to fish, but I was able to do some scouting. Some local intel mentioned something about 8 lb Browns. Sounds good, looks good!

Capt. Targhee Boss

I grew up sneaking onto Bybees' Pond, a small, privately owned pond that was residence to some very impressive LargeMouth Bass. We'd throw our Walmart, two-piece specials across the handle bars and arrive under the cover of darkness so the "REAL" residents wouldn't bother us. Later in my early teens I experimented with a fiberglass, Shakespeare fly rod on the Weber River, I was not consumed.

My in-laws gifted me a fly rod and reel a number of years later. On my first outing with the new equipment on the Ogden River I was not consumed.

Years after sneaking into Bybees' pond, I found myself attempting to throw loops at Cutthroat trout in Strawberry Reservoir, with my childhood accomplice. He was fairing much better than my self, I think I only brought two to hand.

I was CONSUMED!

Since then I have spent a large portion of my waking moments contemplating / preparing my next fix. I am not too particular about species, although I do have my favorites. My passion is fish on the fly and I have been privileged to fish diverse waters.
